So….I bought a 50ml brit brit’s curious perfume. The one in the gorgeous packaging. I got it at a discounted price of just $29 including this 3 track music CD which I can not play on yy laptop. Bummer. But none the less I got a good deal out of this perfume. The box that the perfume comes in is so wonderfully designed. one side’s shimmery blue and the alternate side is shimmery pink. I just love the packaging and the colours put together.
The name curious is delightfully thought out, from the packaging, you come with with a curious feeling when you see the packaging. Opening it is another dimension, oyu just lift the cover up and the box opens up to reveal the perfume like jack in a box. The side of the box falls apart to reveal the perfume bottle, elegantly sitting in the middle of the box waiting for you to use it. The perfume bottel itself is elegant and the see through light blue really adds to the elegancy of this line. Without opening the bottle or spraying it you can vaguely smell the perfume through it’s bottle. I’m not sure if this is good since if you can smell it, it means the bottle either leaks or is not strong enough to hold the smell in.
Two heart shape pendants are tied to the neck of the perfume bottle, it’s just oh so cute. haha Now lets talk about the smell. The first time I smelt this in the shop, I didn’t really like it. I prefer Midnight fantasy from britney’s line. (Yeah I was looking at buying a britney’s line of perfume because they were on sale) C’mon It’s recession time and I’m just a poor student, I can’t afford expensive full priced perfumes at the moment.
The smell doens’t really stick to my mind, it’s the kind of perfume that you smell, think it’s ok and forget all about it. The main reason I bought this perfume was because I love love love the design of the bottle. It has a slight fruity smell (citrusy and lemony). I think it would be suitable for a office lady or a professional woman. It’s a little strong for everyday outing but not enough for a night’s out. It smells professional. If you get what I mean. It would suit the younger generation better than the older generation.
